Mission et compétences

The UIC is the professional body federating all the chemical companies. It provides them with exchange and meeting structures, and encourages their development. It represents and defends them in its various fields of activities, such as social, economic, technical, fiscal and legal affairs.

UIC offers services from 6 main categories:

 

  • The UIC's main task is to identify the needs common to all chemical companies and to favour their exchanges in order to define common stances and actions.
  • The UIC represents the chemical professionsand defends their interests when involved with any regional, national or international authorities.
  • The trade and employer organisation is at the service of the member companies. It provides them with information, advice and tools which are necessary for a proper management of their human resources, as well as the enforcement of economic and technical regulations concerning them.
  • As far as the public, the media and opinion leaders are concerned, the UIC is here to promote the image of chemical industries and outline the essential part the latter has been playing in human progress.
