The simulation of incidents

A 3D simulation piece of software as a form of training for crises management

It is a pedagogical tool which is meant to be used for the training of first aid teams, whether they are from the company or from outside.
Crises situations are reproduced in 3D in a way which reminds one of video games and which reproduces the industrial environment in which the crises are supposed to take place. Here are the main objectives:

  • be able to reproduce real situations and their effects as well as the implementation of the means used;

  • reduce the costs of exercises;

  • produce an unlimited number of variations.

This tool is particularly interesting and is totally interactive. It is surprisingly realistic thanks to a precision of details and is not limited in the number of scenarios or trials. It helps improve team competence and test the Internal Emergency Plan.

Principle 5

Inform staff on the nature and characteristics of installations and on the potential effects caused by products.
More particularly, implement internal procedures so as to prevent accidents or limit their consequences, and contribute to the implementation of the corresponding external procedures.
