Structure

UIC is structured as a network, enabling it to work efficiently and closely with each and every one of its members, wherever they are based and whatever sector they belong to.



Regional Unions


  • 18 Regional UIC Branches delivering services customised to suit the needs of members based in respective regions.Each UIC member belongs to a Regional UIC Branch, which acts as its representative.
     
  • 8 Inter-Regional Branches improving services delivered to members by coordinating an even distribution of expertise.

The "LENICA" Union


Lenica is a trade union for industrial businesses working in the chemical sector and related sectors. Its members also include businesses which use chemicals, and those with a presence in more than one region and/or activities in more than one business sector.

Sector associations


  • 17 sector associations representing the various trades in the chemical industry deal with the issues which are specific to each main range of products.

"Affiliated" associations


  • Ten UIC "affiliated" federations and associations, or corresponding with the UIC,complete the organisation. The former represent the branches which have co-signed the National Chemical Industry Collective Agreement, while the latter represent the branches which are economically linked to the chemical industry.
