Good storage practices for solid nitrate fertilizers

This new document, aimed at farmers, offers simple advice for the storage of solid nitrate fertilizers on their premises so as to preserve the quality of these fertilizers, to limit accidental pollution and the risks related to the proximity of non- compatible products.

There is also a description of security guidelines to be shown to firemen in case of fire on the storage premises.

Principle 6

Communicate the appropriate information to customers, the public, and relevant authorities.
More particularly, advise customers all along the value chain on how to manage, use and dispose of products while respecting health, safety and environmental measures.
